Fodor’s Travel put together a list of 10 things for tourists not to do in Chicago. It’s an interesting list, to say the least and there are some tips to getting around town, avoiding lines at the Sears Tower Skydeck, buying tickets at Wrigley Field the day of a Cubs game, visiting neighborhoods outside the Loop and River North, eating more than deep dish pizza and not visiting when it’s cold. (We’ll certainly embrace that last item.)

But it got us thinking here what was missing. What are some other things tourists should not do in Chicago? Here are some other suggestions.

Kevin Robinson: Don’t order the chocolate shake at Wiener Circle.

You'll be sorry.

Rob Christopher: Don't take a taxi everywhere, and don't take CTA everywhere either. Don't miss the chance to spend an October afternoon walking through Graceland Cemetery. Don't go to a bar on St. Patrick's Day.

Ben Kramer: Don't forget about the craft beer scene! There are tons of taprooms to visit with quality beer, and quality people.

Rob Winn: This should be obvious, but don't waste your time at a Bears game.

Michelle Meywes: Don't stare up while walking down Michigan Avenue. Those tall buildings will still be there when you move to the right or left and out of the way of traffic.

Katie Karpowicz: Don't come all the way to Chicago to eat at a national chain restaurant.
