Morning Box Score: Blackhawks Offense Missing Against Jets

By Chuck Sudo in News on Nov 3, 2014 4:00PM

Winnipeg 1, Blackhawks 0
The Blackhawks offense continued to sputter Sunday night at the United Center as they were blanked for the second time in the past four games. Jets goalie Michael Hutchinson turned away all 33 of the shots he faced while Corey Crawford gave up an early first period goal to former teammate Michael Frolik as the Hawks have now lost three of their last four games. Chicago ran into a red-hot Winnipeg team that finished a recent road trip with a 3-0-1 record and posted back-to-back shutouts. Winnipeg also played a very physical game to counter the Hawks' puck possession game. Chicago still outshot Winnipeg 33-27 but couldn't get any momentum in the first and third periods.

Here are the lowlights.
