Have a casual encounter with beer this Tuesday at Beermiscuous (2812 N. Lincoln Ave.) as they continue their weekly Tasting Tuesday series. This week, Chicago's very own Spiteful Brewing will be featured, offering samples of their God Damn Pigeon Porter, Alley Time Pale Ale, Prove It Gruit, and Mrs. O'Leary's Chocolate Milk Stout w/ Raspberries.

Spiteful's marketing man, (or "Business Guy #2" as they call him) Calvin Fredericksen will be in attendance, so talk him up if you have questions about the beer or brewery. If you like what you're drinking, you can purchase a bottle of any beer above, or other Spiteful concoctions from Beermiscuous' own cooler, which you can enjoy either at home or the bar itself.

This free event runs from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and as will most events involving alcohol, you must be 21 or older in order to attend.

If you have an event for inclusion in "Pencil This In," please contact Tankboy (for A&E-related listings), Melissa McEwen (for tastings, dinners and food and drink-related events) or tips[at]chicagoist[dot]com.
