Good Morning, everyone. We're fully immersed in Standard time for several months, Nik Wallenda had people gasping, craning their necks and snarking, the Blackhawks can't score, Derrick Rose is injured again and Bears fans didn't take the bye week off from grousing about the team's 3-5 record. In other words, it's steady as she goes in Chicago and the weather is, as well.

After a raw Halloween and a brisk weekend, the mercury is expected to climb into the lower 60s today, courtesy of south-to-southwest winds. The skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day so if you weren't up at the crack of dawn running, walking your dog or just having coffee before rousing the kids you may not see sunshine today.

As we head into the evening, the winds may pick up and we could see some overnight showers with lows in the upper 40s and showers may stay with us Tuesday. If it's warmth you're looking for, savor today because the mercury will begin another steady slide into mid-autumn temps by the weekend.
