It's time for music gearheads to head to Schubas and look for good trades or supplement their collection with cool, new audio toys at the Schubas Gear Swap on Saturday. Guitars, amps, keyboards, theramin, didgeridoo, Neve consoles, pedals ... it's all good here! And there will be plenty of vendors to buy stuff from or sell stuff to including Music Garage, Vic’s Drum Shop, Alchemy Audio, KAM Instruments, Chicago Fret & Amp Works, and Third Coast Guitars.

Of course the gear swap has much more going on than just swapping gear. Revolution Brewing will be in the house with beer specials and Schubas is running a raffle to benefit proceeds benefit Foundations of Music—formerly known as Rock For Kids—a cause we can always get down with. You can buy raffle tickets on-site, but you can also get a head start with one free raffle ticket when you RSVP ahead of time. And if you're interested in reserving some table space of your own to sell gear, go ahead and email Gear@Schubas.com and they'll set you up.

Schubas is located at 3159 N. Southport Ave. and the Gear Swap is on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m..
