The Artist Formally Known As Vince Tips A Hat To NYC

2014.11.08.TAFKAV.jpg The Artist Formally Known As Vince is back with a new 7-inch single which the band will celebrate with the hometown crowd Monday night at Township.

The NYC Single features "Chaperone" b/w "Hold Tight" finding TAFKAV in the familiar trashy, glam rock with a punk twist territory they've been rocking for a good long time. Both tunes are bouncy, catchy and precise with no filler. Just after you've strapped down to take the ride, it's almost over, but it is a good time.

NYC Single was recorded on New York City's Lower East Side with the help of Ivan Julian of Richard Hell and The Voidoids fame, who did a nice job capturing the band's essence.

TAFKAV is off on a quick jaunt to New York City this weekend to unveil the new single and return for a Monday night party with all their rowdy friends.

The Artist Formally Known As Vince will perform at Township, 2200-2202 N. California Ave., at 8 p.m. Monday Nov. 10 with Futuristic Dragon and Little Missles. Tickets $7. 21 and older.
