Pencil This In: Women & Children First Campaign Round-Up And Perk Party

Women & Children First Bookstore's "Women & Children & You" crowdfunding campaign is entering its final days and owners Sarah Hollenbeck and Lynn Mooney are close to raising their $35,000 goal to help finance their upcoming renovations of the iconic Andersonville bookstore.
WCF is hosting a fundraiser at the bookstore 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, to raise even more funds for the renovations. The event will feature readings by Samantha Irby, Dana Norris, Nikki Patin and Rebecca Kling. There's a silent auction featuring autographed copies of dozens of books from local and nationally recognized authors. For people who have already donated to the campaign, this will also serve as an opportunity to pick up their prizes and learn more about the renovation plans. (5233 N. Clark St.)
