Baconfest Chicago—Exhibit “A” for anyone arguing that the candy from the pig is more than a mere fad—started selling the sizzle for its seventh annual extravaganza this morning by announcing their 2015 dates and when VIP tickets will go on sale.

Baconfest Chicago 2015 will take place April 17 and 18, 2015 with three tasting sessions over the two days. VIP tickets to the event will go on sale at the Baconfest Chicago website at noon Dec. 3. Be ready to shell out some coin, VIP tickets will cost $200 and folks who purchase the VIP passes will have an extra hour to gorge on all the food and drink before the general admission ticket holders arrive.

You’ve been warned.

The Baconfest Triumvirate announced some changes for next year’s edition. All the general admission sessions will be expanded to a full three hours, giving guests an extra 30 minutes to hit booths they would otherwise not have time for. The GA tix ($100) will go on sale in February. The list of participating restaurants will be announced in January.
