Let's embrace the weather in store for us the next few days. It's autumn in Chicago—sometimes cold weather happens.

If you need some motivation look no further than the sun beaming down on us right now. The highs today will be near or below freezing and those winds from the west will make things feel colder, but Accuweather is taking a rosy view of the forecast and calling the skies partly sunny as opposed to Skilling Central's partly cloudy.

Heading into the evening, things will remain cold with overnight lows in the lower 20s in the city to the teens in the outlying areas. Expect more of the same the rest of the week.

It's a dress rehearsal for winter. How tight is your fleece game?
