Morning Box Score: Good Blackhawks Show Up Against Dallas

By Chuck Sudo in News on Nov 17, 2014 3:30PM

Blackhawks 6, Dallas 2
The Blackhawks offense fired on all cylinders in the third period of Sunday night's game at the United Center. Patrick Kane broke a 2-2 tie with this nifty goal off a centering pass from Brad Richards.

The Hawks only poured on the pressure from there. Jonathan Toews, Kris Versteeg and Brandon Saad tallied goals in the final 20 minutes to pace Chicago past the Stars. Kane finished with a goal and three assists, Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook had first period goals, veteran Brad Richards had two assists and Corey Crawford stopped 22 of 24 shots as Chicago bounced back from a Friday loss in Detroit. The Hawks outshot Dallas 47-24. Outshooting opponents hasn't been a problem; capitalizing on those shots has.
