The Consulate General of the Czech Republic has declared Nov. 23 through Nov. 25 Days of Czech Cuisine. If you are a fan of hearty food, beer or brandy, you'll definitely want to check out these events hosted at Bohemian House (11 W Illinois St.).

InterContinental Hotel Prague Executive Chef Miroslav Kubec and his team will join Bohemian House's Jimmy Papadopoulos in the kitchen to prepare a variety of authentic Czech dishes.

It's also a chance to taste some Czech wines, presented by Czech sommelier Radim Petratur, as well as classic Czech beers and R. Jelinek plum brandy. Reservations are recommended.
