Both the Bulls and Blackhawks are out west while the circus is in town and the two teams had different outcomes in games Thursday night.

Blackhawks 4, Calgary 3
Blackhawks play by play man Pat Foley exclaimed "he shoots, he scores" a lot last night, no goal more exciting than Patrick Kane's third period goal, an unassisted shot set up when he stole the puck on a feeder pass.

Brent Seabrook, Adam Clendening and Daniel Carcillo each scored goals and Corey Crawford weathered some early hiccups to stop 24 shots in the win as the Hawks kicked off their long road trip. Chicago only had 22 shots on goal but had good looks at the net and Flames goalie Jonas Hiller.

Sacramento 103, Bulls 88
Listen up, Bulls fans. We're as frustrated as any of you to see Derrick Rose on the bench but this team is built for a deep playoff run and a healthy Rose heading into the postseason is imperative to the team's championship aspirations. Both Rose and Gasol sat out again Thursday night and the Kings took advantage. DeMarcus Cousins was a buzzsaw for Sacramento with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Rudy Gay scored 20points and Darren Collison scored 17 points and dished out 11 dimes for the Kings. Jimmy Butler led Chicago with 23 points while Taj Gibson, Aaron Brooks and Mike Dunleavy each scored 12 for the Bulls.
