Insult to injury was the name of the game Friday for the Chicago Bulls. Not only did the Bulls lose, they lost by an almost twenty-point margin, and had to endure the loss of another injured player, Taj Gibson, who sprained his ankle in the third quarter. Add Gibson to the list of injured players including Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Kirk Hinrich.

No wonder this game wasn't pretty. The ugliness included this little scuffle:

.

..Mike Dunleavy's flagrant foul on Lillard in the third quarter, followed by Taj Gibson's painful left ankle injury, marred Portland's sixth straight win.

Lillard was going up for a 3-pointer when Dunleavy barreled into him, knocking him down. Wesley Matthews ran over and pushed Dunleavy, and Aaron Brooks in turn shoved Matthews. LaMarcus Aldridge stepped in to separate the group.

Dunleavy was served with a flagrant foul, while Matthews and Brooks got offsetting technicals. Lillard made all three shots.

Dunleavy said the foul was unintentional.

Believe it or not, there were some Bulls bright spots. Rookie Nikola Mirotic had season highs for rebounds and points scored. The Bulls next play the Jazz on Monday.
