Pencil This In: Taco Takeover At SmallBar Logan Square

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Nov 24, 2014 6:40PM

2014_11_24_PTI.jpg The rogue chefs at Flesh for Food hope to kick off your Black Wednesday off in style at SmallBar Logan Square. From 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Nov. 26, they'll be serving $1 tacos (your choice of beer-braised beef or smoked poblano and onion) served with cilantro and lime. (Cheese will cost you an extra quarter.)

You can also warm your bones with some chili verde made with slow-cooked pork, tomatillo and hatch chiles, served with cilantro and sour cream. A cup will cost $4 while a bowl runs $7. It's a good way to get the weekend feast started, along with plenty of beer from SmallBar's inventory. (2956 N. Albany Ave.)
