If you're looking for a good stocking stuffer you can't go wrong with While No One Was Looking: Toasting 20 Years of Bloodshot Records, a wonderful compilation of songs from the label's artists covered by friends and Americana/alt-rock royalty. One of the standout tracks is Two Gallants covering Scott H. Biram's "Truck Driver."

"The Dirty Old One Man Band" has been a Bloodshot mainstay in recent years and brings it both on record and in concert. Catch him at Rock Island Brewing Company (1815 2nd Ave, Rock Island) 8 p.m. Dec. 12.
