The original 1974 slasher classic, not the 2006 remake. For those of you who may be in a more Grinchy holiday mood, and want a holiday-themed frightfest apropos of Thursday's holiday are in for a treat. A simple, sweet IMDB summary: "A sorority house is terrorized by a stranger who makes frightening phone calls and then murders the sorority sisters during Christmas break." Black Christmas was directed by Bob Clark, who, almost a decade later, would make another Christmas-themed classic of an entirely different sort. The film also features a murderer's row of acting talent, including John Saxon, Margot Kidder, and Olivia Hussey. Enjoy!
