When we saw this photo of the cheese ball at The Brass Monkey (401 N. Morgan St.) it brought us back to a simpler time when all your party food needs could be satisfied with a simple port wine cheese ball. The cheese might have been kind of questionable back then, but we can't deny it was tasty and the Brass Monkey rendition is nicer and comes with red pepper jelly, though you can't beat good old Ritz crackers.

On the vein of cheese, this cheese burger at Urban Belly (1400 W. Randolph St.) is made with Wagyu beer and is on a sesame-crusted steamed bun and comes with their popular togarashi spiced fries.

The Duck Inn's (2701 S. Eleanor St.) hamburger sandwich has Brun Usstro cheese, a Finnish-influenced cheese made in Wisconsin that's born to melt, on rye bread with dijonnaise.
