Anthony Bourdain is hitting the road again this summer on his Close to the Bone tour that will culminate with a show right here in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre. We think it's safe to say the renowned chef, author, TV host and all-around bon vivant likes us (even if he's not crazy about our pizza).

It's been a while since Bourdain was last in Chicago on "official business;" he visited Hot Doug's back in 2008 for his No Reservations series and he filmed the Chicago installment of The Layover back in July 2012 (though not without incident). The culinary celeb will give a talk at the Auditorium Theatre on July 30 and he has tantalizingly promised to reveal more of himself and his off-the-beaten-path adventures than he "get[s] to show you on television."

Bourdain will spend most of July in the Midwest and West Coast for the ten-city tour (which does not include New York because they get to see him plenty); he has three stops in Texas alone. Tickets are available now through presale until Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. when the general sale goes live.
