This Sunday, you can get a dose of food and fashion at the Lake FX Marketplace curated by Dose Market at the Chicago Cultural Center. The Dosettes have brought together 60 Midwest food and sundry vendors to help you get spring off to the right start.

If you've recently rid yourself of some old posters during a fit of spring cleaning, you can pick up some new art from Stella Lily or LuckySkye Graphics. Or treat yo' self to some Deborah Kerr Jewels or kFroet Designs. Fashion finds include Tamara Nicole, The Order and Velvit. You can even pick up some gorgeous new furnishings from Vault Furniture and Alapash New Home. There will also be some fragrant offerings from vendors like Real. Soaps and Town & Anchor.

But what's a market without food, right? Well, Dough Dough Bird Baking Company, Verzênay Pâtisserie and others will have sweets on hand, seasonal and otherwise. And Rare Bird Preserves, Green City Market and Karl's Craft Soup will have some takeaway goodies for sale.

Local garage rock duo White Mystery will DJ the event, so you'll be treated to their favorite tunes while you shop. And if you're just not sure how that new sweater or vase is going to work out (or you have an even more burning question), you can stop by Laughing Eye Weeping Eye for a tarot reading.

The Lake FX marketplace is this Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington St.) The event is free to attend.
