New Drone-Shot Video Shows Summer In The City

The production company behind the visually-stunning, drone-shot video of Chicago encased in a wintry mix of ice and snow from earlier this year, has come out with a new video of the city to enjoy in all its summer glory.

Soaring Badger Productions, run by videographer Colin Hinkle, recently shared "Chicago: A Bird's Eye View VII - Summer in the City." This latest installment in his love letter to the cityscape and skyline includes shots of lakefront joggers, riverboat tourists, The 606, that 80-foot deep pit in the ground near Streeterville and Navy Pier's soon-to-be replaced Ferris wheel.

It's just what we needed to see after a dreary June of record-setting rainfall.
