Happy Fourth of July, Chicago! Today's beautiful forecast is another reason to celebrate the long holiday weekend. By afternoon, we will find freedom from those uncharacteristic 60-degree days that kicked off July earlier this week, as we warm up to a high of 83 degrees with nothing but blue skies that stretch across Chicagoland.
While there will be no rain for any parades, temps will be cooler by the lake and will drop by nightfall so pack a jacket for the fireworks and after-dark parties. The perfect forecast returns on Sunday and Monday, too, so keep the flag waving and festivities going like America is counting on it.
