Photos: The Best Cosplay Of Wizard World Comic Con

Wizard World 2015 came and went like a whirlwind. It's hard to believe it's already over, but we had a great time. This year's con featured even more impressive cosplay, along with fewer paywalls, better maintenance on facilities, and plenty of fantastic vendors selling wonderfully nerdy wares we couldn't help but get our hands on.

Some of the highlights of our experience were the Firefly panel, which was packed to capacity and featured three of Firefly's biggest stars. Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin and Summer Glau were all there to joke, laugh and talk about the show, being on the set, and congratulate a couple who proposed during the Q&A.

We saw a screening of this fall's upcoming Supergirl on CBS, and we also checked in with Full House actor Jodi Sweetin, who did a panel on that show's sequel Fuller House, as well as an open Q&A for fans. It looks like there are a lot of people, who grew up on the show or shared it with their kids, who will be ready to devour Fuller House when it comes to Netflix in 2016.

We also went to Saturday's main event, which was a concert by the video game music band Critical Hit followed immediately by Wizard World's ever popular cosplay contest. The band was great, despite early sound level issues, and really got us in the mood for the cosplay contest. It was a banner year for cosplay, with almost too many amazing costumes to choose from, including amazing groups and entries from lesser seen characters, including some from Suicide Squad and X-Men.

With many of last year's complaints from the con completely resolved, we found this con a better value than it had once been. If you missed it this year, make sure to catch it next time, and start on those amazing costume ideas now.
