A few weeks back, we wrote about Slow Food Chicago's Annual Farm Roast. You should go buy tickets. But whether you go or not, that doesn't stop you from bidding on their first-ever auction which opened on Tuesday.

If you're a food lover (or you have any food lovers in your life who need gifts) this is about as good as it gets. Some of the best restaurants and chefs in town have provided unique experiences sure to make almost anyone's mouth water, and you're likely to get a pretty good deal on the price.

Do you love pie? How about a class for you and nine of your closest friends at Bang Bang Pie Co? Are you a music lover? Bid on a great combo of tickets to Sound Opinions and dinner at Honey Butter Fried Chicken. Have you always wanted to be a chef? You can be a "chef for a day" in the kitchen at A10. Have you ever gotten to go to the roof of the historic Palmer House? Not only can you visit and have dinner up in the skyline, but there's a rooftop garden and an apiary up there for you to tour.

All proceeds go to support the awesome work that Slow Food does to preserve heirloom varieties, encourage local eating and support community gardening. Bid now.
