DMK Opens Burger Bar And Fish Bar On Navy Pier

DMK Restaurants, the group behind Lakeview's Burger Bar and Fish Bar, are opening two new outposts of the popular restaurants on Navy Pier Friday.
Navy Pier's Burger Bar Fish Bar will be similar to the Sheffield Avenue restaurants but also have a children's menu and a walk-up take-out window, which we could have really used the last time we waited an hour for a table at Lakeview's Fish Bar.
The Grand Opening is happening now at 600 E. Grand Ave. and running until 10 p.m., and the restaurants' regular hours will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
DMK is the latest addition to a line-up of new Navy Pier offerings as the city moves ahead with a multi-million dollar Navy Pier expansion project. The city is also preparing to celebrate Navy Pier's 100th anniversary in 2016 with the construction of a new outdoor pavilion and park.
