Updated: Announcement Of Kanye West Performance At United Center Was An Error

Update: 12:10 p.m. Reps from the United Center are telling news outlets that the announcement that Kanye West would perform 808s & Heartbreak in full at the United Center last month was made in error by Ticketmaster.

"This morning, a show featuring Kanye West at United Center was published to Ticketmaster. Unfortunately, this was done in error, as there are no current plans for a Kanye West show in Chicago. We apologize for the misinformation."

We're skeptical that an announcement this big could be totally false, but this is all the information available on the slip up so far.

Whether or not you're ready to endorse "Kanye For President 2020," or try on something from his Yeezy fashion lines, you'll probably be excited to know that Kanye West is bringing his full album performance of 808s & Heartbreak to his hometown next month.

West brought the performance to Los Angeles last month, and he's coming to the United Center on Nov. 9. According to reports, tickets will start at $39.50 and go up to $199.50—but there's no ticket release time yet. Ticketmaster appears to have taken down their page announcing the show Friday morning.

Here's a video of West's performance in Hollywood Sept. 26, alongside guest Kid Cudi:
