It's the most anticipated beer release of the year, with the possible exception of Dark Lord Day: Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout. This year, the release date is Nov. 27 (Black Friday), so while everyone else is shopping for discount TVs, you can be standing in line for beer.

While BCBS is available at many places throughout the city (and perhaps you will even get lucky at your local market), the official release party is at Binny's Lincoln Park on Marcey Street. Tuesday, Binny's released their official rules and regulations, so you can prepare for your BCS extravaganza almost a month in advance.

According to the Tribune (which detailed the varieties of BCBS being released back in July) lines began forming on Thursday night last year. Binny's is frank: The answer to the question "Will I have to stand in line?" is "Yes."

Here's how it will work: You can line up in advance (far in advance) of the release, which officially starts at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27. Once the line forms, guests will get tickets, and the tickets are what lets you purchase the beer.

Each ticket holder gets what Binny's calls a "full allotment:" two bottles of the signature BCBS, as well as one of each of the special varietals (there are five this year). If you're at the Lincoln Park location and you're close to the head of the line, there will also be coffee, food, gift bags and other goodies—it actually sounds like, despite the cold, it could be a pretty great time.

All the details are here.
