Have you been craving some delicious Doug Sohn-created encased meats since Hot Doug's closed? If so, you're in luck, because the spot is coming back. But only for one day!

Sohn has teamed up with Publican Quality Meats, and on Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., he'll be taking over the restaurant. There will be 6 to 8 of his signature sausages, duck fat fries (of course!) and probably about a billion fans of the Doug's. In fact, The Publican is opening at noon that day (serving a limited menu of oysters, pork rinds, fries and hams) to handle the expected overflow.

Meats aren't all that'll be on order. There will be beer available from Marz Community Brewing and Lumpen Radio will be DJing and live-streaming the whole, carnivorous day. Mark your calendars!
