It's official: You can stop leaving your house. Binny’s Beverage Depot—the Midwest’s largest liquor store chain and the Nordstrom Rack of booze—has teamed up with Instacart, a grocery delivery app, to offer Chicagoans alcohol deliveries.

As of last week, Instacart app users can pick from a 12,000-item selection including beer, wine, liquor, and mixers, which Instacart delivers, typically in under an hour, throughout much of Chicago. They’ll deliver orders as small as one item, according to Crain’s.

Though right now, users’ first order is free, the partnership will ultimately charge delivery fees. List prices will “match the lowest in-store prices available in your area,” according to the Binny’s Instacart page.

Binny’s and Instacart hope to ultimately roll their service out to the whole Chicago area, including the suburbs, Crain’s reports.

This shouldn’t be hard, since Binny’s has 31 stores in Illinois.

Though the partnership is a new development, the underlying concept isn’t new. Other services in Chicago—Drizly and Drinkfly, among others—have been executing a similar idea for months.

Even Binny’s has been delivering for years—but typically bulk orders for special events, not personal orders.
