Alleged internet trolls were up to no good after Governor Bruce Rauner’s state of the state speech, makin’ a few rounds of edits to his Wikipedia page slamming him for his first year in office. NBC5 reports though the edits have since been cleared up, the edits to his biography began with a name change to Bruce “Life-Ruiner” Rauner. Later, Rauner’s name was edited to read Bruce “Makes Blago Look Better Everyday” Rauner.

The Wikipedia vandals didn’t stop at the name, making several changes to Rauner’s personal history, family, and more. “His father Lucifer was the literal devil, not unlike his son,” read one edit. “Rauner graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics and fucking up a whole state from Dartmouth College,” read another.

Some of the edits also took aim at Rauner’s wife, Diana, and the recent news that the state hired her another very well paid Chief of Staff the same day one of Illinois’ largest social service agencies announced huge cuts. “Diana Rauner, who is apparently so special she gets a $100,000 chief of staff while the rest of the state gets LITERALLY NOTHING,” read the entry for “spouse.” Rauner’s ex-wife was also given the nickname ““Dodged That Bullet.”

The Sun-Times reports
the last time someone went trollin' on Rauner's Wikipedia entry, edits made it appear the governor had a curious obsession with the French horn.
