The city has just released the line-up for their free summer concert series that starts Millennium Park in June.
Blonde Redhead and Ryley Walker will kick off outdoor concert season on Monday June 6. Concerts will be held at Jay Pritzker Pavilion just about every Monday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. through August, though there will be lulls in the schedule for Taste of Chicago, Lollapalooza and unannounced acts for a separate programs "Millennium Park Presents", according to DNAinfo.
The line-up span the globe and genres from indie rock to gospel to free jazz. Some highlights include local indie rockers Marrow, Swedish indie folk singer/songwriter Jose Gonzalez, Maryland's indie pop group Lower Dens, and socially conscious local rapper ProbCause.
Do remember to double-check the city's website before you head out, because this schedule is subject to change (and there are still a few TBDs that haven't been nailed down).
