Prince Was Rushed To An Illinois Hospital Friday Morning

Wonderful and tiny recording artist Prince was rushed to an Illinois hospital early Friday, TMZ reports, after his jet made an unscheduled 1 a.m. stop at Quad City National Airport in
in Moline, IL.

Prince, 57, was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance. The nature of his health emergency was unclear, and TMZ's sources offered conflicting reports on whether or not he had been released and what condition he was in.

Prince was in the air after a show in Atlanta, according to TMZ. Prince, this entire nation loves you and wishes you well!

Update, April 16: Prince is back at home resting, his rep told various outlets. He was originally hospitalized with the flu, and was released from the hospital three hours after he checked in.
