Body Found In Lake Michigan Near Buckingham Fountain Early Monday

Authorities found a dead body in Lake Michigan early Monday morning, not far from Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park.

The body was found around 6:30 a.m. near 500 S. Lake Shore Drive, according to the Chicago Fire Department, and the person, whose gender was not identified, was pronounced dead.
