We're down to the final four beers in the search for the best craft brew in Chicago, and there are some serious surprises in the Elite 8. Half Acre, previously the big winner (they had two beers in the sweet sixteen round) has been totally knocked out, as has popular favorite Two Brothers. There were thousands of votes in the last round; let's check out the results.

In the last round, Ale Syndicate barely edged out Two Brothers 53 percent to 47 percent (in a poll with almost 6000 votes cast), Moody Tongue trounced Half Acre 64 percent to 36 percent, Forbidden Root defeated Off Color 54 percent to 46 percent and Temperance defeated South Loop Brewing 54 percent to 46 percent.

That leads us to the final four. Voting will remain open until Sunday at Midnight, and we will announce the final face-off on Monday.

Let the best beer win!
