Divvy Expands Its Free Valet Service Just In Time For Fest Season

Divvy is on a roll lately. It's safe; it's expanding; and now, it's even expanding its valet service. The bikesharing company's free valet service, currently available at downtown and lakefront stations, will soon be available much more widely.
First piloted in 2014, the valet service involves attendants, just like car valet service. The Divvy attendants staff "hotspot" stations sure to attract big crowds in a short time, whether that's a station about to get inundated with Pitchfork-goers, or just a station in the Loop during the morning rush hour. Valet service guarantees bikers a drop-off slot at that station, even if all the physical station's docks are full.
“We’re expanding our Valet Service for Summer 2016 because it allows Divvy riders to plan trips to large scale events with confidence, knowing that they will have a guaranteed drop-off for their Divvy bike when they arrive,” Divvy general manager Elliot Greenberger said in a statement. “Our busiest days coincide with city-wide events and festivals, and this helps us make Divvy as enjoyable as the destination itself."
This summer, the expansion will include valet service around various one-off festivals and events, as well as continuous weekday an weekend service at select stations.
Divvy will offer valet service for the following events at the listed Divvy stations:
