Videos: Eddie Vedder Plays Surprise Set At Metro

By Tankboy in Arts & Entertainment on Jun 19, 2016 9:43PM

We told you that the Hot Stove Cool Music fundraiser (an annual benefit concert held by Chicago Cubs GM Theo Epstein) at Metro was not to be missed based on the superstar lineup including Liz Phair and others, but even we didn't know Eddie Vedder was going to show up to play a surprise set for the crowd. Along with a few Pearl Jam favorites he tackled songs from The Who, Splitz Enz, and Neil Young.

Members of the Cubs, Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, former New York Yankee Bernie Williams and Cubs manager Joe Maddon were among the All-Star band on stage with Vedder.
