Donald Trump Says Violence In Chicago Is 'Not Good' On Twitter

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee and presumptive $60K-weave-wearer Donald Trump has weighed in on violence in Chicago. It's "[n]ot good!" he tweeted, sagely.
For once, Donald Trump is not wrong. Violence in Chicago is up this year from last year, and there's no quick fix—though we bet if you asked Trump any specific questions about what's going on in Chicago, or how he plans to "deliver jobs," he would crumble into a pile of dust.
His Tweets from this morning:
Crime is out of control, and rapidly getting worse. Look what is going on in Chicago and our inner cities. Not good!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 12, 2016
For too many years, our inner cities have been left behind. I am going to deliver jobs, safety and protection for those in need.

Trump posted these Tweets this morning, ahead of his first campaign fundraiser in Chicago, the Tribune reports. The fundraising luncheon will be his first visit to our fair city since his rally at University of Illinois at Chicago was postponed (forever) due to "safety concerns," prompted by widespread peaceful protesting around UIC pavilion. Protests are planned for outside Trump Tower today as well.
