Back in June, 82-year-old John Hetlinger of Broomfield, Colorado, "broke the Internet," as the kids probably no longer say, after his appearance on America's Got Talent made the rounds. The hook: The aerospace engineer-turned-karaoke enthusiast chose to wow the judges with Drowning Pool's aggro, nu-metal punching bag "Bodies." And he did so with incredible conviction.

Drowning Pool seems to have been as impressed as we were. The Dallas quartet has invited Hetlinger to appear on Friday at the Open Air Music Festival. As Stereogum points, out the performance conflicts with Pitchfork Music Festival 2016, so local music fans may have to suffer through an even more agonizing paradox of choice than festivals already present. We won't judge if you pass on the first day at Union Park now.
