Ikea fans who don't feel like driving all the way to Bollingbrook or Schamburg for their meatball fix are in luck this week, as an Ikea food truck is roaming the city handing out tiny packages of meaty goodness.

The truck is visiting New York and Chicago this summer, and is in town for Wicker Park Fest this weekend. It started handing out free meatballs Wednesday at the corner of Michigan and Ohio, and in addition to the classic meatball/lingonberry combo, the Tribune reports they were serving up a buffalo chicken meatball with blue cheese. This is all part of a campaign called #togetherweeat, which apparently has something to do with community and family, and also hammocks? Whatever, free meatballs.

Ikea hasn't announced where the truck will land today and tomorrow, so follow the twitter feed for more info. Plus if you chase the truck, you might get caught on camera like this guy and get to endorse meatballs and furniture.
