Formerly Chicago-based comic and noted thorn-in-Bill-Cosby’s-side Hannibal Buress announced on Wednesday a marathon 34-date North American tour, “The Hannibal Montanabal Experience.” And it looks like the whirlwind itinerary includes a stop in Buress’ old Chicago stomping grounds, too.

Buress is scheduled to perform on Sept. 14 at the Chicago Theatre. Tickets ($35 to $55) go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. They'll be available here.

If you’ve never seen Buress in Chicago, we can't recommend it enough. Whether he’s recording a proper live album or ducking in for a surprise drop-in show, he always brings his dry, laconic best for hometown crowds.
