We're going to go out on a limb here and say that your dog probably doesn't have much baseball team loyalty—no matter how often you like to dress them up in those silly dog-sized uniforms. Still, the White Sox are hoping to pack U.S. Cellular Field with pups next month to break a world record.

The White Sox need 1,000 dogs to fill their stadium Tuesday, Sept. 13 to break the Guinness Book of World Records title for most dogs attending a sporting event, which is apparently a thing. This year’s event also marks the 20th anniversary of its annual Bark in the Park.

Dogs and owners will be seated in the Outfield Reserve, which will be the designated "Dog Zone" where pups can get water, relieve themselves and do whatever else dogs do at a baseball game. Fans who wish to bring their dog need to purchase $20 tickets for the game against Cleveland by Sept. 6 by emailing DogDay@chisox.com.
