Video: Chance The Rapper Trashes Record-Label Office On 'Ellen' Performance

On Thursday morning, Chicago’s native son blessed the Ellen audience with an ebullient performance of “No Problem,” off his album Coloring Book, alongside 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. Even better, the trio decided to destroy a mock record-label office as they performed the standout cut. Chance tweeted that he had pitched the concept to a few awards shows, all of which turned him down before Ellen gave the okay.

The concept nods to both Chance's continued refusal to sign with a label and Lil Wayne's contentious relationship with longtime label Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne not only got to say the line "I just took five percocets and only caught a buzz," on national daytime television, he also modified a lyric to reference Ryan Lochte: “And if that label try to stop me/I’m gon’ let ’em rob me/Yeah, right, like Ryan Lochte.” Watch the performance above.
