Photos: Check Out A Preview Of Friday's 'Stranger Things'-Themed Art Show

Ever since Stranger Things thrust synth-heavy pop music, IRL friendship and the backstory of Jean Ralphio's father to the forefront of our psyches, we’ve been craving the show's aesthetic with the same smoldering passion that Jonathan low-key has for Nancy. Fortunately for us, we can actually get what we want (sorry Jonathan) at Toy de Jour’s Stranger Things-themed art show, which happens Friday night from 6 - 9 p.m.

To give you a real taste of the show's vibe, the fine folks at Toy de Jour plan to toast up Eggo Waffles for guests to enjoy as they take in the Stranger Things-inspired artwork, created by artists from across the city. (Get a sneak peak of some of the pieces in our gallery above.) The Netflix series will air silently in the background throughout the night, allowing you to feel enraged on behalf of Barb all over again before soothing yourself with the many tributes to the cult-favorite character sure to be on display.

Though Toy de Jour will provide some food and drink, the event is BYOB. Just don't bring so much you slip into your own personal Upside Down. RSVP here.
