So there's this musical called Hamilton. After what seems like lifetimes of buildup, the Chicago production is very nearly here, with previews set to begin on Sept. 27. It's pretty celebrated and kind of popular. If even after Broadway in Chicago recaptured and made available a "significant number" of scalped tickets you still don't have a way in, there's hope yet: Broadway in Chicago announced on Tuesday that Chicago will have its own version of the fabled #Ham4Ham lottery, which gives eager would-be theatergoers a shot at $10 tickets for every performance.

A digital lottery will take place for each show, with 44 tickets up for grabs per performance. The lottery begins with next Tuesday's debut preview performance and will extend throughout the Chicago run.

More details are available here, including lottery time windows for each performance.

Good luck, Hamiltonians.
