Despite its thorough New York-ness, Ghostbusters always felt like something of default local movie, with co-leads Bill Murray and Harold Ramis both being Chicagoland natives. Somebody in River North appears to agree—or like, the rest of the planet, they’re just big fans: a giant blow-up Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was spotted overlooking River North, as seen in a Tuesday morning Reddit post by user phunniemee.

We’re not sure of the exact location (write us at tips@chicagoist.com if you're now living under the Marshmallow Man's domain and/or know more about how he got to River North), but we fully support the stunt—especially after this year's solid remake was so unfairly maligned. After all, it’s an infinitely better use of Halloween-season décor than a certain escapade that has hit our radar as of late.
