The Chicago Botanic Garden debuted its newest seasonal attraction last night to a packed crowd of visitors.

Night of 1000 Jack o' Lanterns kicked off with a garden walk, live music and, of course, a whole mess of pumpkins...around 1100, in fact. About 100 large pumpkin are scattered throughout the walk and feature intricate carving work on a variety of themes, from Dia de los Muertos to classic horror movies, Chicago Sports, Illinois icons and more. We also spotted a carving of Alice, the Botanic Garden's infamous corpse flower.

If last night is any indication, it's going to be busy, so make sure you secure your tickets ahead of time. Night of 1000 Jack o' Lanterns runs from 6 to 10:30 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 23.
