Photos: Christmas Has Arrived At Lincoln Park's 'Zoo Lights'

By Rachel Cromidas in Arts & Entertainment on Nov 28, 2016 3:12PM

While you were probably still digesting Thanksgiving turkey, Christmas came to Lincoln Park, in the form of the annual Zoo Lights holiday kick-off.

The zoo will be lit up with about 2 million colored light bulbs, arranged to look like your favorite zoo animals, from now through the end of the year. Head to the zoo after sundown for a glimmering walk through the park and some superb hot chocolate. Zoo Lights programming runs Dec. 2 to 4, 9 to 23, 26 to 31, and Jan. 1, 2017
from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Our photographer Tyler LaRiviere was there to photograph the annual light show's opening, above.
