If you somehow haven't seen the impossibly charming clip of a woodpecker catching a ride through the streets of downtown Chicago, allow us to make your year.

The clip, posted on Thursday by USA Today's bank of feel-good quick-hit videos Humankind, is just short of two minutes of bliss. In it, the little bird hangs onto the windowsill of a moving car as it navigates through the Loop (note the Picasso in the background at one point). The driver—who provides some perfectly folksy, kindly-stranger narration—is of course careful to watch his speed as he watches out for his cutest hitchhiker.

We won't spoil the perfect ending.

The clip took off on social media when it was shared again by writer Simon Ricketts. "I cherish little vignettes of joy like that," he wrote.

Amen.
