The body of a man was pulled from the Columbus Park Lagoon on the city's West Side Wednesday morning, according to police.

The police department's marine unit learned there was a body in the lagoon, near the 500 block of South Central Avenue, around 9:30 a.m. According to the Tribune, another man's body was pulled from the lagoon earlier this year.

Columbus Park is a sprawling park in Austin on the far West Side of Chicago. Details on the body and the circumstances of the man's death have not been released, and a police investigation is ongoing.
