Over 100 artists will be keeping the party going after their daytime sets at Lollaplooza this year. Organizers just announced over 55 official aftershows at smaller venues (when compared to Grant park) around Chicago where you can catch a wide range of musical acts. Lollapalooza lasts four days again this year—Aug. 3 to 6—so of course the aftershow schedule has also grown, now spanning six days.

A couple of sets that immediately caught our eye included Spoon at The Metro, PUP at The Empty Bottle, Crystal Castles at Lincoln Hall, Tegan And Sara at Park West, Taylor Bennett at Reggie's, Whitney at Thalia Hall, and Towkio at Concord Music Hall.

The growing number of official Lollapalooza aftershows has helped address some of the criticisms that follow any large festival, primarily the desires of people who want to see their favorite acts in a sweaty club at night, and not surrounded by 20,000 other fans in the middle of the day. It also helps give back to local venues who in the past got dinged as the touring schedule of so many Lollapalooza acts would bypass the smaller clubs.

You can view the full list of aftershows here, and tickets go on sale June 2 at 10 a.m.
