A vandal wrote "Pig," "I'm a thief" and other insults in spray paint on a police car last week in Jefferson Park on the Far Northwest Side.

The car was parked on the street in the 5900 block of West Miami Avenue overnight between June 15 and June 16. At some point between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. the marked police SUV was damaged by an unknown number of vandals, according to police. Area North detectives are investigating the criminal damage to property.

According to DNAinfo, the vandal wrote "pig," "I'm a thief," and a misogynistic word on the car, and under the words "We Serve and Protect" written on the car the vandal wrote "My a**."
